Sweetwater Creek is on the north-east of the lake, close to Canton. Its has 151 sites, 118 with electrical and water hookups, and 2 with sewer hookups. Sweetwater Creek is the only site on Lake Allatoona with group camping. It has a nine-site group camp area which includes group shelter and costs $220 per night.

Rules

• 3 cars per campsite and a maximum of 6 visitors in addition to the registered camping party.
• Noise is banned between 10pm and 6 am.
  
• They will lock up the gates at 10:30pm and re-open the campsite at 7am.
  
• Checkout time is 3pm.

How to Get There

I-75 to Exit 290 and turn right onto Canton Road. Travel approximately ten miles and then turn right onto Field Chapel Road.
